Borek: Heating Instructions

 

Oven: Preheat to 365 degrees. Place Borek on a cookie sheet, and warm for 10-12 minutes.

 

Microwave: Place Borek on a microwave-safe plate. Heat on high for approximately two minutes. 

 

 

Manti (Turkish Ravioli): Cooking Instructions

 

Keep Manti frozen until ready to cook. 

 

Fill a large, heavy pot with 5 cups of water, 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1 Tsp salt, and bring to a boil. 

 

Add frozen Manti to boiling water. Turn heat down to medium heat, and cook 7-8 minutes or until Manti floats to the top. Remember to stir periodically and gently to avoid sticking.

 

Drain Manti, arrange on a serving dish, and top with garlic-yogurt. Drizzle with Ozfeka’s special Manti sauce.

 

 

 

 

Kofte (Beef Turkish Meatballs): Heating Instructions

Thaw pre-cooked Kofte overnight in refrigerator.

 

Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet about a half-inch apart in a single layer.

 

Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until heated through.

 

Microwave: Remove lid, and microwave on high 2-3 minutes.

 

 

 

 

Cheese Rolls: Cooking Instructions

 

Thaw Cheese Rolls overnight in your refrigerator or until completely thawed.

 

Add one cup canola or vegetable oil to a medium skillet and set temperature to medium-high. 

 

Once the oil is heated, Add cheese rolls and lightly fry each side until crisp and gold. Remove and drain them on paper towel. Serve warm.

 

 

 

 

Turkish Flatbread: Heating Instructions

 

Preheat the oven 400 degrees. Sprinkle some water on the bread and heat 3-4 minutes.

 

 

 

 

Izmir Kofte:  Heating Instructions

 

Oven: Preheat oven to 365 degrees. Put Izmir Kofte and Rice in an oven-safe dish, cover, and warm for 10-12 minutes. 

 

Microwave: Put Izmir Kofte in a microwave-safe dish, and heat on high for approximately 2 minutes.

 

 

 

Red or Green Lentil Soup:  Heating Instructions

 

Add soup to medium size pot. Warm on medium-low temperature, stirring periodically until warm.

 

 

Beef Burgers: Cooking Instructions

 

Thaw uncooked burgers overnight in the refrigerator. 

 

Prepare a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat. 

 

Cook burgers 5 minutes per side for medium rare.

 

 

 

Chicken Burgers: Cooking Instructions

Thaw uncooked burgers overnight in the refrigerator.

Prepare a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat.

Cook burgers 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through. 

 

 

Gyro: Heating Instructions

Thaw pre-cooked Gyro slices overnight in your refrigerator.

 

In a medium skillet, heat Gyro on medium-high heat for approximately until warmed through and steamy.
